The Veteran Railway Bryrup-Vrads is operated by a group of enthusiasts who strive to preserve the old railway equipment, buildings, and facilities, as well as maintain the operation of a heritage railway on the Bryrup – Vrads route.
The line runs over approximately 5 km of the abandoned Horsens-Bryrup-Silkeborg Railway, which was closed in 1968. The journey goes from Bryrup through a wooded area past the lakes Kvindsø, Kulsø, and Snabe Igelsø to Vrads station. It is a very beautiful ride, rightfully called “Denmark’s Most Beautiful Railway.”
Vrads Station operates as a restaurant and inn. Vrads Station is always open when trains run according to the regular timetable.
